BWM Wins Its First Public Sector Website Design Contract

B|W|M is delighted to announce its first Public Sector Web design contract www.collaborativecommunities.org.uk.

Competing against a large number of applicants, BWM won the contract though demonstrating an ability to effectively manage projects through a methodology based on Prince2. Our design credentials helped as did our development skills; the MODX Content Management System integration and php coding was expertly delivered by Ben Wheeler of Beach Software. Also weighted strongly was our ability to deliver an accessible and bilingual solution.

The website is part of an ERDF funded project that provides consultancy primarily to charities, helping them to become more economically sustainable and, in some cases, helping them to set up as Social Enterprises.

Based in Ammanford, the project is a joint collaboration between local authorities in Southwest Wales: Swansea, Carmarthen, Neath Port Talbot and Pembrokeshire.

The project involved the design and development of a content managed website that promotes the organisation’s services, and delivers regular updates and feedback on ongoing project across Southwest Wales.
